Description

It covers the skills and knowledge required to select and test devices prior to use, testing atmosphere's using electronic test apparatus to determine whether it is safe for the proposed work, interpretation and recording of readings, appropriate actions and trouble-shooting and fault finding.

Assessment Requirements

This course is assessed using a variety of written and practical components including inspection, fault finding and troubleshooting of equipment, hazard & risk assessments and gas testing of a confined space and similar locations.
