Description
This nationally recognised course in Isolate and Access Plant (RIISAM202E), explains the procedures for performing isolation and de-isolation.
This one day program will outline how to identify plant to be isolated, apply work permit procedures and perform hazard identification and risk analysis prior to starting work.
This unit is appropriate for those working in operational, service or maintenance roles on fixed or mobile mechanical plant and equipment, at worksites within the following industries:
- Civil construction
- Coal mining
- Drilling
- Extractive industries
- Metalliferous mining
Assessment Requirements
The participant will be required to demonstrate both practical and theoretical components to be deemed competent.
The theory assessment has a variety of multiple choice, short answer and scenario based questions.
